A central theme of my recent studio work has been the transmission of knowledge through the cultivation of plants. The connections between plants and humans have defined communities and shaped cultural identity for millennia. I’m interested in the interaction between people and plants over time and how the plants become repositories of memory, history, beauty and desire.
